Playback Groups & Workshops

Playgo Theatre provides this year various groups in which you can study Playback Theatre

Sharing the stories that accompany us through life, and inspired by the stories that are told, we learn how to use our personal imaginative & creative skills in order to bring life to our stories on stage.

The group members participate in basic theatre & Improv games and exercises in order to brush up their unique and natural skills as actors, as well as being exposed to various techniques of Playback Theatre.

Working together we will cover a deeper look into the world of Playback Theatre; Listening to the spoken and unspoken words; Exploring internal vs. external conflicts; Choosing acting styles & genres such as realist vs. symbolist, comedy vs. tragedy ; Acting with images & metaphors; Sensing and being sensitive to the story & the storyteller; Group sharing & reflection; Letting go, letting loose and Having fun…
