Story “Making-Telling-Playing” Workshop
This workshop provides an inside look into the process of creating a story.
The children will learn how to use their own imaginative skills by plunging into the land of make-believe and discovering the plot as they go along.
The workshop will focus on the various aspects that can be observed, considered and implemented in the birth of a story from structure to substance, from beginning to end, from imagination to play.
The workshop covers the following aspects:
- Story sequence: Beginning-Middle-End
- Plot formation and character development
- Story Board – drawing our story in pictures
- Bringing life to the pictures on stage
- Costume and Body Craft
- Directing & Acting
- Group work – Working together as a chorus
- Mirroring & Reflection
The children will learn how to use basic theatrical tools and games in order to bring their own stories to life on stage.
